Rubber & Plastic industry Trend reports for June 2011 on production and shipment |
The rubber & plastic production growth rose 4.4% from a year ago, while shipment growth 4.0%

The industrial product index for June 2011 was 150.3 - it rose 0.7% over last month, and over the same month last year, increased 6.3% with the revitalized production of automobile, semiconductor & its parts, and chemicals, etc.
By the business fields, over the last month, automobile, chemicals, beverages were up, while electrical equipment, semiconductor & its parts, and primary metal were down. There was rise in the fields of automobile, semiconductor & its parts, chemicals from a year ago. Compared with the same month last year, automobile was 17.0% up, semiconductor & its parts 12.8% up, in addition chemical-equipments 5.6% up, but only electrical equipments were 4.9% down.
As to the production changes by business fields, rubber & plastic industry rose 0.4% over the last month and 4.4% compared with the same month last year.
The industrial product shipment index for May 2011 was 144.2 and it increased 1.1% over the last month, and rose 5.6% with the same month last year.
By business fields, over the last month, automobile and chemicals showed rise, while fiber purification, primary metal down. Automobile rose high up and fiber purification, chemicals also up from a year ago.
The domestic manufacturing shipment was ,over the last month, up 1.7% because of the increase of the capital and intermediate goods in manufacturing despite the decrease of the consumer goods, and up 2.9% over the same month from a year ago.
Among the shipment changes by business fields, rubber & plastic industry shipment index rose 0.7% over the last month, and increased 4.0% over the same month last year.

The manufacturing operation ratio trend reports for June 2011 |
| Rubber & plastic industry operation ratio index rose 1.4% over the previous month, and 0.4% from a year ago.

The average manufacturing operation ratio for June 2011 was 82.5% - 1.1% point rise over the last month. The manufacturing operation ratio index was up in the fields of automobile, groceries, chemicals and it was 1.4% up from the last month despite the decrease of semiconductor & its parts, primary metal, metal processing etc. - 0.4% down over the same month last year.
The production capacity index of June was 0.1% up from the last month - more, up 5.0% from a year ago. The index of semiconductor & its parts, mechanical equipments, chemicals showed increase, but clothing & fur, other goods, groceries decreased. Over the same month last year, there was the 5.0% average increase with all the economic downturn in the fields of semiconductor & its parts, furniture, medical precise optics, etc.
The operation ratio index of rubber & plastic industry increased 0.2% from a month ago - 0.5% up over the same month last year.
