| Rubber & Plastic industry Trend reports for April 2011 on the production and shipment

| The Rubber & Plastic Production growth in April rose 4.7 % from a year ago, while shipment growth 4.0%
|
| |
The industrial product index for April 2011 was 146.9 - it shrank 1.5% over last month, and over the same month last year increased 6.9% with the revitalized production of semiconductor & its parts, the Goods and other transportation equipment, oil refining, etc.
By the business fields, over the last month, semiconductor & its parts, goods and other transportation equipment, oil refining were up, while chemicals, AV communications, automotive Industry were down. There was rise in the fields of semiconductor & its parts, goods and other transportation equipment, oil refining from a year ago. Compared with the same month last year, semiconductor & its parts is 20.6% up, goods and other transportation equipment 20.1% up - oil refining and automotive industry were respectively 12.5%, 8.5% up, but AV communications was 18.2% down.
As to the production changes by business fields, rubber & plastic industry dropped 2.6% over the last month, however, 4.7% up compared with the same month last year.
The industrial product shipment index for April 2011 decreased 1.7% over the last month, and rose 7.3% with the same month last year.
By business fields, over the last month, semiconductor & its parts, oil refining, and computer industry showed rise, while chemicals, AV communications, automotive industry down. Semiconductor & its parts, oil refining, automotive industry rose, chemicals, AV communications fell from a year ago.
The domestic manufacturing shipment was ,over the last month, down 30% with all the decrease of the consumer, capital, intermediate goods in manufacturing,,etc. but up 2.2% over the same month from a year ago.
As to the shipment changes by business fields, rubber & plastic industry shipment index fell 3.6% over the last month, while rose 4.0% over the same month last year.

| The manufacturing operation ratio trend reports for April 2011
|
| Rubber & plastic industry operation ratio index fell 1.0% over the previous month, while rose 4.6% from a year ago.

The average manufacturing operation ratio for April 2011 was 80.5% - 2.0% down over the last month. The manufacturing operation ratio index was up in the fields of semiconductor & its parts, the Goods and other transportation equipment, oil refining, etc., but it was 2.3% down due to the decrease of AV communications, groceries, chemicals, etc. from the last month - 1.3% down over the same month last year.
The production capacity index was 0.1% up from the last month - more, up 6.5% from a year ago. The index of Semiconductor & its parts, chemicals, and rubber & plastic industry showed slight increase, but textile goods, medical precision optics, paper goods decreased. Over the same month last year, there was the 21% maximum increase with the good business condition in the fields of oprimary metal, rubber & plastic industry, etc.
The operation ratio index of rubber & plastic industry dropped 1.0% from a month ago, while, rose 4.6% over the same month last year.
